Ollo I really like this podcast my dad did it!!!

I stumbled upon a MPL podcast episode recently and was impressed at how down to earth and practical the conversations are. The topics and insights are so timely and relevant (even as I listen to episodes from a year ago), and have helped me gain more insights into what it’s like to serve in a high-level people leader role. This helps me to explore whether or not I want to move in that direction in the future, and also to be more strategic in my current work with a deeper understanding of how VPs of people prioritize.

The Modern People Leader has quickly become a favorite in my podcast feed! Daniel and Stephen are excellent hosts and the the topics they cover are incredibly timely. Easily one of the most genuine and value-packed podcasts for people leaders. Highly recommend giving it a listen!

I’ve subscribed to a lot of people podcasts over the years and this one has a voice all its own. Super down to earth convos with a wide variety of people leaders. Helpful, engaging, and super timely for what I’m diving into at work.

I deeply enjoy the Modern People Leader podcast. This platform created to celebrate breaking the mold of the old traditional ways of HR and highlighting the new transformative ways we now need to lead is fantastic. I gain new insights each time I listen from the amazing collection of leaders. The unique content also confirms new leaps of faith I may be taking, knowing that I’m in great company disrupting the old paradigms of HR, now more than ever, for what we’ve had to lead through in the past couple of years. This podcast reveals the deep complexity and challenges of a highly misunderstood profession. Sadly more people know what they don’t want from human resources than what they do want. This is a very strange profession. I’ve been in it for over 35 years, but i almost didn’t get into it because so many people seem to have so many issues with “HR people“. Overtime I realized that I love this profession because I love sports and everything about sports is what HR is about if it’s done right – trying to find out how to put the best people together to make some magic happen, and putting them in the right circumstances with the right leaders is an art unlike any other. I love every episode. I hope you do too.

Let’s face it, who has time to do all the reading necessary to stay on top of all the people leadership trends. I for sure don’t. This podcast is a life saver. I’m able to listen on my morning runs and get inspired. The topics give purview into what the best people leaders are doing. Thank you for your hard work. We’re listening. Don’t stop!
